Our Factories
At Hachure, our key values are to source sustainably and ethically to produce garments that will last, and be less damaging to our planet.
We aim to be transparent and honest about where we source our garments so have chosen to share information about where they come from.
Country - UK
Styles - Activewear leggings, shorts and crop tops
In the North East of the UK, we work with a small and friendly team of four women at their sample studio. Here they have helped us develop our designs from idea to finished product and manufacture in small batches to reduce over stocking and ensure high quality.
Our ECONYL® recycled nylon fabric is sourced direct from Italy. 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from pre and post industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets, fabric scrap, industrial plastic, and even carpet fluff. You can read more about it here
Styles - Knitted hats and socks
Our Expedition beanies are made by local craftspeople in Nottingham, using a combination of modern machinery to make traditional, high quality, knitted products.
Our Hike & Trek socks are made in Yorkshire from yarn blends of various wools from Australia, South Africa, and South America. This unique combination of wools gives a yarn that is soft to the touch, but still strong enough to be used everyday in socks.

Styles - Fleece scarfs, snoods and ear warmers
The cosy, cold weather fleece accessories are hand made by Leanne (Hachure's founder) in her Manchester based home studio. Made from quality 100% recycled Polartec thermal polyester fleece, sourced from deadstock that would have gone to waste. The technical properties trap heat are are super soft to the touch.
Country - Bangladesh
Styles - T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers, shorts
From field to fashion, our jersey factory is committed to continuously improving how they create and operate. Everything from cotton farming to managing waste.
Exclusively using 100% GOTS certified organic cotton from India and Global Recycle Standard certified recycled polyester from China
And it's not just the fabrics they care about. To ensure safety of their workers they work closely with the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). Providing extensive social audits, providing best practises in complex areas such as the freedom associations and ensuring decent working conditions with monthly reporting and daily visits.
Styles - Outerwear jackets & bumbags
Manufactured with the same organisation as our jersey styles, these garments are made using 100% recycled polyester and nylon fabric made from post-consumer plastic bottles. To keep these styles as planet-friendly as possible, they use a safe, fluorine-free durable water repellent to make sure they are ready for life on the go.

Country - China
Styles - Caps
Our caps are small but mighty. GOTS approved 100% organic cotton, OekoTex 100 Class I standard and conforming to REACH compliance. Again, like our jersey, they are also made under high Fair Wear Foundation rules and regulations to ensure the safety and care of workers.
