More than a year in the making and I am dancing around in my bedroom/ design studio as I finally introduce Hachure’s Spring Summer range.
My initial vision for Hachure was activewear. I never would have imagined the metaphorical and literal mountains I’d climb to develop these pieces.
Eight rounds of samples, tested in three types of recycled fabrics. Hundreds of mirror try-on sessions. A painful amount of test squats and sprints. (Plus, quite a few tears).
And I can finally say that these new leggings, crop tops and shorts are ready for the most mindful or adrenaline-fuelled activities. I can’t wait for you to try them.
I’ve even introduced a lush new forest green colour into Hachure’s palette.
In addition to activewear, I’m staying true to Hachure’s outdoor roots and launching athleisure and outerwear including the cosy, fleecy hoody and sweatpants co-ord.
You’ll also see new limited-run t-shirts made from our usual sustainable, organic cotton. And a new accessory - a bumbag!
And, one I’m particularly excited about (especially because I live in squally Manchester), Hachure’s new wind-proof, light-weight jackets. These babies are 100% recycled polyester, made from (get this) discarded plastic water bottles.
Thank you SO much for being part of the Hachure Society.
Thank you for supporting my dream.
Stay wild and adventurous!
